One of the reasons I truly respect Miranda Lambert is because of her love of dogs...especially her work with shelter dogs. For the record, I got my dog, Max, from the Columbia County Humane Society after he was found on the side of the road:

(Don't let him fool you, while he looks all innocent and sweet, he's quite the little turd. I love him anyway)
