Carrie Underwood appears on the cover of the latest issue of Marie Claire.
Carrie says she doesn't come from a family of huggers. And her two sisters are much older than she is -- which she believes helped create her independent spirit. She says, "I'm a little more selfish...a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean, I'm not a sociopath."
She also tells the magazine that she always knew she'd be a star -- at least going by what she wrote for her high school yearbook. "You were supposed to say what you would be doing in 10 years, and I said, 'I will be rich, famous and married to a hot guy.' I guess I should have added a few more things." Yeah, she's a liiiiiittle over achieved I think.
Here's the cover photo if you don't have the magazine.

It was a killer tour opener for Brad Paisley, who capped the first weekend on the Beat The Summer Tour with the Killers and a movie! On Sunday, Brad was the surprise guest the Killers’ show at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House, joining them on stage for “Here On Out.” The rock group also tackled Johnny Cash’s “Ring Of Fire” at the end of “A Dustland Fairytale.” Before closing the weekend with the Killers, Brad took over a local movie theater in Noblesville, Indiana to treat his band, crew and opening acts Chris Young, Lee Brice and the Henningsens to a private midnight showing of Ironman 3 on Saturday. Kicking off last week in St. Louis, the Beat This Summer tour attracted more than 62,000 concertgoers over the opening weekend. The tour continues this week in Holmdel, New Jersey; Boston and Hartford, Connecticut. Brad hits ABC’s The View and CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman tomorrow.
