At a July 2nd Blake Shelton concert, Patrick Connelly, who suffers from multiple disabilities and is stuck in a wheelchair, was upset when he was unable to see Blake's performance on-stage.

Patrick's mother, Cheryl, said, "Patrick started crying because he couldn't see Blake Shelton, he couldn't see anything but the legs of the people in front of him."

With the help of his sister, Patrick's mom tried to hold him high enough to see the concert, but they quickly grew tired in the nearly-100-degree heat. Then, two men appeared and lifted Patrick for nearly a half-hour.

Patrick's mother said, "It shows you that they cared. Today in this world you don't see that much heartfelt kindness from strangers."

Later, Patrick was even able to go backstage and meet Shelton.
