Bad news if you were starting to get addicted to Do No Harm. NBC has canceled the show due to poor ratings.
From the night it premiered, the show was a ratings disaster, with only a .9 rating in the key demographic. Those were the lowest numbers in history for a series debut across the big four networks (NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX). Even fewer people watched the second episode - resulting in a .7 rating.
According to Huffington Post, Do No Harm's cancellation is the fastest of the 2012-2013 season. Fox's "Ben and Kate" and ABC's "666 Park Avenue" were also cancelled, while Fox's "The Mob Doctor," ABC's "Last Resort," and The CW's "Emily Owens" were able to finish their run but will not return for a second season.
If you're wondering, the other Do No Harm episodes will not air; Law & Order: SVU will air in its place.
