Well, we've told you about all of today's nonsense, chaos, and stupidity.  Now here's "The Good News." 

--On Saturday morning, 15-year-old Austin Smith was working on a 1991 Buick in Ida Township, Michigan with his 74-year-old grandfather, Ernie Monhollen.  (--Ida Township is just outside Detroit.) 

--The car was up on blocks, and Ernie was trying to test the brakes.  So he climbed underneath to take a look, and asked Austin to climb in and pump the brake pedal.

--Austin felt the car rock and got out . . . and right afterward it slipped off the blocks and pinned his grandfather underneath.

--Even though the Buick weighed more than 2,000 pounds, Austin went to the front end and LIFTED IT.  And he was able to get it high enough so Ernie could slide out. 

--Ernie suffered broken ribs, a fractured eye socket and a big cut on his face, but he's going to be okay.

Back on the 11th, 94-year-old Josie Anello of Tampa, Florida died.  And her obituary was just in the "Tampa Tribune".

--One of her three children wrote it up, and clearly he decided it was the perfect opportunity to PUBLICLY BLAST his siblings.

--It reads, quote, "She is survived by her son, A.J., who loved and cared for her; her daughter, Ninfa, who betrayed her trust; and son Peter, who broke her heart."

--We're guessing A.J. took the lead on writing the obituary.

If only all of us could be this UNBELIEVABLY BADASS at 90 years old.  Last month, 90-year-old Jay Leone of Greenbrae, California was at his house when a young 30-year-old punk named Samuel Cutrufelli broke in to rob the place.

--Jay tried to FIGHT him off, but Samuel was pretty determined to rob the place and he shot Jay IN THE HEAD. 

--Jay was SO MAD and SO TOUGH, that somehow he was able to grab his own gun, and told Samuel, quote, "[Eff] you, you son of a [B-word], now it's my turn."

--He unloaded five bullets from his .38-caliber revolver, and three of the shots hit Samuel in the stomach.  Then Samuel came over, grabbed Jay's gun from him, and tried to shoot him in the head AGAIN.  But Jay knew there were no bullets left. 

--Samuel took off, but the cops caught up with him when he headed to the hospital to get his gunshot wounds treated.

--Jay was treated for his head wound, and he's still recovering.

MIRANDA LAMBERT isn't ready to let the whole CHRIS BROWN performing at the Grammys controversy go away.  And neither are her fans.

--Miranda was launching into "Gunpowder & Lead" at her concert last Thursday in Amherst, Massachusetts when she noticed someone holding a sign that read, quote, "Take notes Chris Brown."

--Miranda could have ignored the sign or maybe just pointed to it . . . but she didn't.  She ran to the front of the stage, grabbed it and then showed it to the entire crowd.
