I'll be honest, I know of the infamous "Manson Family," but didn't really know that Charles Manson was still sitting in prison (I thought maybe he died, or was a myth - he'd been convicted of 7 murders and sentenced to death, but turns out that California deemed the death-penalty unconstitutional before carrying out the sentence)..
So, when I found out he was up for parole today, I was surprised and IMMEDIATELY had to find out what happened.
Manson is 77, and has been in prison since 1972 and today Corcoran State Prison rejected his parole for the 11th time today...now he just has to wait 15 years for another shot.
